Kuakata most popular tourist place.
Kuakata is a most popular tourist place in Bangladesh. It is a beautiful and panoramic sea beach located in Latachapli union under Kalapara Police Station at Patuakhali district. In 1784, Kuakata was a part of the larger Sundarban forest when the Rakhines settled in this area. It is the place of pilgrimage for both Hindu and Buddhist communities. It has a large sandy beach starting where one can see both the sunup and sunset. Kuakata is on 320 Kilometers south of Dhaka. It’s natural beauty, sandy beach, blue sky, evergreen forest is eye-catching. The Kuakata beach is 30 km long and 6 km wide. Locally it known as Shagor Kannya (Daughter of ocean). Kuakata is also famous for migratory winter birds. This sea beach is nice, clam, quiet and attractive. You can experience both sunrise and sunset from here. For the reason kuakata is one of the world's unique beaches. Kuakata is very clean and also calm with clean blue water. There are several AC and Non AC Bus services from Dhaka to Kuakata. There are many good quality hotels for tourist. Different kinds of fish are available in kuakata. Ocean fish is a very popular item for tourist. Normal hotel and VIP hotel are available here. Sundarban is the biggest mangrove forest
Shundorbon is the world biggest mangrove forest. It's located in Bangladesh and Indea. Royel bengle Tiger lives here. one kind of tre named "sundori" grows here. In fact it is the reason of the name "sundorbon."
